Refund policy

When a subscription can be refunded and how to ask for it.

Who charges

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. They issue the invoice and carry out any refund, following what is decided here.

Fourteen days, wherever you live

We refund any first payment within 14 calendar days of the charge, no questions asked. That is our own promise and it does not depend on your country: making you work out what your law grants you before we return your money would be a cheap way of not returning it.

On top of that promise, whatever rights your law gives you stay untouched. The two most common: if you buy as a consumer in the European Union you have 14 calendar days of withdrawal —by subscribing you agree the service starts immediately, so if you have fully consumed it the right lapses— and in Colombia the five-business-day retracto of article 47 of Ley 1480 does not cover services whose provision has already started with your agreement, which is exactly what happens when the plan is switched on. Our 14 days apply in both cases anyway.

Beyond those 14 days

  • If the service was down or broken through our fault for a meaningful part of the period, we refund that part.
  • If you paid twice for the same thing, we always refund the duplicate.
  • If you subscribed by mistake and never used the plan, we refund it.
  • An unwanted yearly renewal, reported in the first days of the new period and unused, is refunded.

Outside those cases, a period already started is not refunded. Cancelling stops the next renewal and the service continues until the end of the period you already paid for.

How to ask

Write to [email protected] from the address you paid with, stating the server and the date of the charge. We answer within five business days at most; once approved, the money usually takes 5 to 10 days to return to your payment method, depending on your bank.

Disputed charges

If you open a dispute with your bank without writing to us first, access to the paid plan is suspended while it is resolved. Writing to us first is faster for everyone, and it costs you nothing: the payment reversal that article 51 of Ley 1480 grants consumers in Colombia —or the equivalent procedure in your country— stays available to you.
